PrintAccording to the U.S. Department of Labor, the Consumer Price Index for the Los Angeles - Riverside - Orange County metropolitan area was up 1.8% in May 2010 compared to May 2009.
Inflation was up 0.2% in May, compared to April 2010.
The CPI-U, the index for all urban consumers was at 226.438 in May 2010, up from 222.522 in May 2009.
The U.S. city average inflation was up 2% in May compared to the same month in 2009.
